Gladys Marie Saban Ebeling “Happy” was born on January 27, 1925 in San Pedro, California. She died on June 29, 2014. She was born to Steve and Rita Saban. Happy was the third of ten children. Four siblings preceded her in death (Eva, Mel, Stan, Lucky and Frankie). She is survived by John, Ginny, Dottie, Bobby and several nieces and nephews and their children.
Her husband Richard Ebeling preceded her in death. She had two beautiful step daughters from her marriage, Charlotte McNeil of Portland, OR and Allyson Carol Wuebker of San Diego, CA.
Happy worked in the hospitality field for over fifty years and was a union member. She worked most of that time at Spot 79 in Portland, OR as a bartender. She retired at age 79.
