Glen Edward Rardin

In July 1950 Glen enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He toured Korea for two years receiving: Korean Service Ribbon, Korean Service Medal and National Defense Service Ribbon. He was honorably discharged in January 1954. Glen, married Corrine Bergen in June of 1954 and proceeded him in death after 48 years of marriage. Glen and Corrine had 5 children together in Portland, Or. Together they raised their family in Milwaukie.

Hobbies included: boating, waterskiing, hunting, metal art and he was a master carpenter. A lifetime love of building and showing cars, resulted in a career and ownership of Trophy Auto Sales.

He is survived by sister, Patty Rardin; brothers, Jim and Don Rardin; children, Christy (Leonard) and Curt (Sharyl); grandchildren, Jason, Josh, Nichole (Rick), Shaeleen (Thomas), Adam (Nicole) and Alec (Katie); 11 great-grandchildren; and Carol Wood Rardin wife of 5 years. He was proceeded in death by son, Chuck and two daughters Carrie and Theresa.

A funeral will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Church, 10955 SE 25th Ave. He will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 9:30am..
