Harold was a true friend. We went to High School and College together. We joined different fraternities  at OSU but remained good friends. We talked every time we saw each other as he always wanted to catch up on his beloved Beavers. He was an avid outdoorsman and we shared many hunting stories and spots. We played football together at Sunset and cherished those times. I will miss him and his eternal optimism. He would want me to say "GO BEAVS"

Harold was my best friend for 55 years.  You will not find a kinder more generous person in all of Creation.

Harold and I attended Ridgewood Elementary, Cedar Park Middle School, Sunset High School, and Oregon State University.  We were fraternity brothers in Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE),  Harold was my best man at my wedding.

Harold and I did everything together.  Hunting, fishing, bird dog training (he really loved his dogs) and Oregon State athletics.

I am saddened beyond words at the passing of this great man and wonderful friend.  Life gives us only few friends this special.  I will miss Harold every day until we meet up again in eternity.

Thanks buddy for being my friend.  I miss you already.

For almost 50 years, Harold made me smile.  From the beer bums at SHS, watching high school sports and still being a friend, even though he was a Beaver and I am a Duck.  He always stopped to talk when his crew did my yard and kept me up on all things "Facebook", never understanding why I would not join.  I know he was excited to be retired and hunt and spend time with his kids.  I will always remember his enthusiasm for life.  I will miss his phone calls.  Pam
