

Harold was born in Oregon City, Oregon, the third of four children to Dorothea and Peter Keyser. He graduated from Canby High School in Canby, Oregon. He served two years in the Army stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict. He married the love of his life, Sandy Wright, on July 27, 1957 at Central Lutheran Church in Portland, Oregon. He worked for many years as a tool and die machinist at Omark Industries and Simplicity Tool. Harold was a life-long Lutheran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 122 in Canby, Oregon and formerly a member of Elks Lodge 1189 in Oregon City, Oregon. Harold is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandy; their three children, Diana, Brian, and Lori; five grandchildren, Peter, Andy, Edik, Colter, and Ryder; and four great-grandchildren, Malachi, Elias, Sabrina, and Lillybelle. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Luella, Raleigh, and Richard. A memorial service and reception will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Central Lutheran Church in Portland with Pastor Amanda Zentz-Alo presiding. There will be a viewing held from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Zeller Chapel of the Roses in Portland. Graveside burial will be at 10:00am on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Zoar Lutheran Cemetery in Canby, Oregon with military honors by the American Legion Post 122 from Canby.
