Heather Deanne Wilson

Heather was born June 16, 1970, and passed away May 25, 2025 when the Lord took her hand and faithfully led her to Heaven. She passed unexpectedly at OHSU in Portland. Heather was born in West Berlin, Germany, to Deanne and Larry Wilson. She was joined by her brother, David, March 2, 1972. The family moved to Portland, OR in July 1972.

Heather received her education in Beaverton with a special education diploma in 1991. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Wilson, by her stepfather Steve Foster, by grand parents and by her Aunt Rita Oney. She is survived by her mother Deanne Foster and her mother’s partner, Wayne Simons, and her brother David Wilson.

Heather had lived for many years in an Albertina Kerr group home in Beaverton. She loved life, her family, her friends, her wonderful group home staff, and her housemates. She loved coming home to Mom’s house every Saturday, for holidays, and all celebrations – especially, she loved her birthday!

For all who shared her path, she will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, her fun and spirited nature, her boundless love and wonderful hugs.

There will be a private family burial with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
