Helen and her husband, James, raised their family in Tillamook. There, she operated her own fabirc store, Helen's Sewing Basket. In 1992, James and Helen moved to Portland. She loved the Lord and her family.
She is survived by her husband, James; four children, Jerry, Pat, Kathy and Lonny; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 1515 NE 106th Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97220.
