Irene went to Jefferson High School and married her high school sweetheart, David Anderson. Together they had three daughters, seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Although Irene spent some time as a secretary at Montgomery Ward and acted as support staff for Anderson Roofing , she spent a great amount of time as a homemaker and loved giving her time to her family. She and Dave’s home always had an “open door policy;” and everyone was always welcome. She was a great hostess and a wonderful cook. Irene loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything
When she was not with her loving family, Irene enjoyed devoting a lot of her time to her church. She was a soloist as well as part of the church choir. She was a member of First Covenant Church for many years and eventually Lake Oswego United Methodist.
Although her beautiful voice was recognized early on, another talent that was hidden for some time was her artistic talent. When Irene was 92 and moved into Willamette View, she discovered that she loved and excelled at art! Over the years she also enjoyed knitting and sewing.
Irene is survived by her daughter; Linda (Bernie) Raynor Wennermark, great-granddaughters; Emma and Ellie, granddaughter; Sheila McDonald, great-grandchildren; Owen, Allison and Martin, grandson; John Raynor, great-grandchildren; Addison and Paige, daughter; Patricia (Richard) Moffitt, granddaughter; Tricia Murphy, great-grandchildren; Madison, Lauren and Davis, granddaughter; Krista Branson; great-grandchildren; Skylar, Benjamin and Gavin, daughter; Sylvia (Grant) Oakes, grandson; Andy Otto, great-grandsons; Dylan and Drew, and grandson Brent Otto. Irene was preceded in death by David, her husband of 69 years, her son-in-law; Owen Raynor, and her grandson; Todd Raynor.
