Mr. Nelson had been a resident of Oceanside, Oregon for the past year. He enjoyed the beautiful ocean and quiet idellic setting of the Oregon coast in the care of his daughter Frances Kay Nelson.
He is survived by his son Jay Scott Nelson , wife Michele, Grandaughter Alexia Lynn Garcia, all of Lake Oswego, Oregon and Grandson Scott Ryan Nelson of Walnut Creek, Califorina.
Mr. Nelson was 103 and had been in the logging and contracting business. He lost his wonderful wife Charolette Jane in January of 2001
