Jan was born on February 2, 1933 in Portland, Oregon to Lillian Stafford. She passed away on September 6, 2014 in Portland, Oregon.
On August 26, 1950, she married Al Cox and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. They traveled the world before starting their family in 1954. Jan stayed at home to raise their children before working as the Office Manager at City Home Improvement for 20 years. She loved entertaining, people watching, and in her later years, found great joy with the poker group at Summerplace.
Jan worked hard and took great pride in the presentation of her life. She was the family Matriarch; completely devoted to her family. She loved without condition.
Jan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie & Daniel Ankeney; her daughter-in-law, Laura Cox; her grandchildren, Melissa Armstrong and Julie Fleischmann; her great-grandchild, Kyler Armstrong; and her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn & Gary Schloo, and their children Brent & Darrin Webster,
Jan will be reunited with her beloved mother, Lillian; husband, Al; and their son, Tris.
She will be greatly missed.
