Mr. Kemmerer would occasionally be down at River Run I park when Toby, our dog, and I would be there getting some exercise.  He was always happy to see Toby and watch Toby chase after his tennis ball.  My dad died of dementia in March of 2019 and I sensed some of the same for Mr. Kemmerer.  My dad lived in s. California so seeing him was not an often thing so being with Mr. Kemmerer felt good and comforting.  Our last time together was a glorious sunshine day and he was sitting on the bench at the far back loop of the park just marveling in it.  I remember his warm smile and his sharing about the sunshine.  God bless you Mr. Kemmerer and as Calvin says in the cartoon HE DOES, HE DOES!
