Sweetheart, 

I wish I could talk to you, hold you, and kiss you one more time.  I'm listening to the Chili Peppers and thinking about all those times we hung out at Starbucks and working with the little fiends.  :-)  The pain and emptiness I feel from your passing still is there, but my love for you is somehow still getting stronger.  I can't wait to see you again someday.

Christmas of '15 has come and gone. As I sit at home I reflect on so many memories. Some distant some not so long ago. Throughout the years you've always been an influence in my life and have had such an impact in making me the person I am today. I thank you again. You're the best big brother a guy could wish for. You kept me out of trouble and watched over me. A lot. I can never repay you but I promise you I'll make sure that continues with your kids. I love and miss you a lot. I know you're ok now though and that brings comfort to me. I have your Christmas gift here. Someday I'll deliver it to you personally. Merry Christmas "zir"

I don't even know where to begin. 

I first crossed paths with John due to a series of poor life choices that I had made. As my treatment counselor, John went above and beyond what was required of him to assist me with maintaining my license as a registered nurse. Through my darkest hour, John was truly my shining star. He was honest, real, and above all, he loved helping people. I owe my career, my marriage, and my sobriety to John Tsingos. 

To John, I'm going to miss our informal check-ins. My heart is heavy today, but I'm sure you're out there watching over all of us. I'll always remember, "nothing changes... if nothing changes." Love you, man!

To John's family, I am forever grateful for John. He was a true blessing to this world. You all are in my prayers.

John, I couldn't have asked for a better friend through grad school.  Through our carpooling in blizzards, to making fun of everyone including ourselves, to our deep life/spiritual conversations, you helped me in some rough patches in life. I will miss your laugh, us getting trouble in school, and your positive outlook on life. I will think of you and cheer when the cubs play in the postseason this year and hopefully win the world series!  Thanks for being my friend and for the random texts and calls throughout the past years and staying in touch even though our lives changed directions with distance after grad school. Prayers with your family and kids throughout this time. You are very loved bro!
