You were there when we needed to play cards, as you were there when we needed a hug

You gave us love, friendship, and family, and it was you who cared for those children so meek

It was you who endured those challenges so deep

Today we praise your name and celebrate your life, for you were the one we loved and adored, it was you who touched our hearts

As you cared for the children, your family, and friends, your legacy continues as you watch over us in our heaven abode, and guide us to do what is right

Our time with you is not over, it has only just begun. Our Father's plan for us is far from done.

We know that you rest free from pain, in peace eternal. As Christ once said about those who pass: that they "rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."

We will remember your works, your laugh, your smile, your gentleness

We will remember your kind words, and your unwavering faith, for you always spoke with patience and passion

But most of all, we will remember the influence you had on us

But today, TODAY we say goodbye, for TOMORROW we will see you again. God be with you until we meet again.
