KATHY LEE EATON ----- Born February 24, 1947. Kathy passed away peacefully in her home on November 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Angela C. Eaton, and her brother Dan E. Eaton. She is survived by her brother Robert J. Eaton and sister Kristi L. Nachand.
Kathy worked a year for Pacific Northwest Bell 1966-67. In June 1967, she flew to Germany where she married Daniel A. Calkins. She and Dan lived in Germany for 3 years, 2 years in South Dakota, 1 year in Arizona, and then returned to Oregon in 1973. She became single in 1977 and remained single until her passing.
She then worked for Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) from 1973-1977. In 1998 she went to work for the City of Gresham and finally retired in August 2013 to enjoy her family and pets. She loved and was dearly loved by her nieces and nephews: Gabe, Andrea, and Abby Nachand, Jeanie Hood and Heather and Paul Eaton.
The family suggests that remembrances go to the Oregon Humane Society, Multnomah County Animal Shelter, or Fences for Fido.
