

Kenny W. Leung, 51, passed away on February 3, 2016 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born November 23, 1964 in Hong Kong, he came to the United States with his parents, sister, and brother when he was 5 years old and settled in Portland, Oregon. Kenny attended William Clark Elementary, Binnsmead Middle School, and John Marshall High School where he was senior class president and graduated top 10 of his class. He received a scholarship to attend Seattle University and graduated with honors with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Kenny got his first job with Boeing in Seattle where he was employed 30 years until his passing. He was very dedicated to his job and colleagues. Kenny made Kent, WA his home 18 years ago and was very proud of the house he built on a steep hill with a nice view of the city.
He was a caring and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed dearly. His favorite niece Maria will always remember him as “Special K” (a nickname she gave him from their special bond with the cereal brand). Kenny will always be in the hearts of his mother, sister Lynn, brother-in-law Russ, nephew Joe, niece Maria, brother Danny, and the circle of friends and family his life was a part of.
