Malee Kramsomboon was born in Samphran, Nakhonprathom province Thailand September 7th, 1959. Her father’s name was Champee and her mother’s name was Rian. They are both deceased. Malee had 9 brothers and sisters including: Boon chook, Boon chouay, Boon chu, Boonseuam, Booncharn, Boonma, Boonmark, Boonna, Malee and Manop (6 males and 4 females). Since they were a big family, Malee moved to Bangkok when she was very young to stay with her aunt "Nuancharat" who owned a seamstress business shop so she could learn something more challenging. She grew up with her aunt who has one daughter "Dr Usavadee Asdornwised" and one son "Tom".
After her aunt died, Malee went to study at "Ngamvilay Institute of clothing design" and took over the business until she met Anthony in 1992. They married November 14th, 1994 and Malee moved to Portland to join her new husband while he worked as an accountant at Armour Food Company.
Their daughter “Crystal Tanovan” was born December 19th, 1998. Malee worked at TC Corporation from 1995 to 1996 as Sewing machine operator sewing sports bags. She then worked at Purdy brush company as brush maker from 1996 to 2003. Malee and her husband decided to open a Thai restaurant called "Marisa Thai Express" in SE Portland from 2003 to 2008.
Malee was diagnosed with Leukemia (A.L.L) in late 2008. Because of her cancer treatments, Malee and her husband decided to close their business. Malee passed away August 13, 2011.
Malee was an excellent woman. She never took advantage of people. She was very nice to anyone she met and everyone who knows her loves her. People love her beauty, love her character, love her cooking and love the clothes she made for them...
Malee was the best wife to her husband. She loved her daughter more than anything in the world. She was a wonderful role model for her family, relatives and friends.
We will miss her dearly.
