Margie A. Logan passed away in her home on November 15, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born as the only child to E.H & Ida Meyer on November 2, 1937. Margie resided in Portland, Oregon all 79 years she lived. She is survived by her husband Herman of 54 years and together they raised 5 children; Annette Greenwood, Dale Logan, Arlene Collins, Bernadette Logan-Collins (Jay) and Tammy Logan-Ehrlich (Patrich). She was a loving grandmother to Adrianne Collins, Charlie Greenwood, Joshua Logan-Ehrlich, Jordan Collins and Justin Ehrlich. Margie is also survived by three great granddaughters.
Margie liked to do arts & crafts, enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and taking trips to the beach. Her favorite flower was yellow roses and she was an avid lover of cats and dogs. She also loved travelling with Herman, especially in their motor home. Margie always supported and donated her time to school and church fundraisers, Oregon Humane Society, and VA & Children’s Hospitals.
Margie will always be remembered as the kindest, patient and loving soul to all that knew her.
