Marty was raised by her adoptive parents – Horace and Edith (Schmiedeskamp) Nachand, and after Edith’s passing, Kathryn June Nachand (Mulligan). She was born on August 4, 1943 in Nashville, TN but immediately moved to Oregon, where she lived all of her life. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and worked as a travel agent for many years.
Marty was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Voruz, in 1998, and by her father H.C. Nachand, mother Edith Nachand, and mother June Nachand.
She will be missed and remembered by her children, Scott Voruz and wife Natalie, Michael Voruz, and Michelle Millmaker (Voruz) and husband Steven, as well as her grandchildren Chad Voruz, Logan Voruz, Gavin Brusco, Owen Brusco, Cayley Voruz, Steven Millmaker, Patrick Millmaker, and Tasha Hamm.
Private family services were held.
