Mary Jean Winner Moore was born in Portland, Oregon on May 25, 1958 to Willie "Peter" Winner and Arnesia "Neicy" Winner. Mary attended Boise Elementary, Hayhurst Elementary, and Lincoln High School.
Mary met Thomas "Tommy" Moore, Jr. at a friend's house. They were married on November 19, 1976 in Vancouver, Washington. Tommy and Mary had two sons during this union.
Mary worked at a few factories during her career including Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon performing factory calibration for various equipment; Precision Castparts Corporation, a
company that makes cast parts for aircraft; and Chase Bag Company where they make many types of burlap and other bags. She also worked as a Crew Member at Lyden Farms and was an
associate at the American Red Cross.
Mary was a charming, dedicated wife, loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed making jewelry, decorating, painting, listening to music, dancing, cooking Mexican food, shopping, and dressing up. Mary loved her family, friends, and was an outspoken person. She was very funny, a natural practical joker.
Preceding Mary in death are her father, Willie "Peter" Winner; mother, Arnesia "Neicy" Winner; father-in-law, Thomas Moore, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Claudia Moore.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband of 49 years, Thomas "Tommy" Moore, Jr.; son, Thomas "Poohbee" Moore, III; and son, Willie Moore. Grandchildren: Karryé Moore,
Willie Moore, Jr., Thomas Moore IV, and Willow Moore. One sibling: Stephanie Winner, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other extended relatives, and friends.
