I knew Maxie from our bible study. 
She was an inspiration to us all.
Her constant stand in faith during hard times spoke of her true commitment to Jesus,  An encouragement to us who follow.
She now sees the Lord face to face who she so faithfully followed.
What a joy for her. Our loss, heavens gain.
Good memories.


I met Maxie in a Bible study. I will remember her smile and how she fought the fight to keep smiling and was firmly committed to trusting God to see her through all her trials. She persevered in her faith in God and was a kind and loving person.  Romans 8:39. Now her faith has been rewarded. 
I pray that God will comfort all who love her .   

Sweet Maxie, 
A stick of dynamite in a tiny package.  She loved her Lord,family and friends she considered family.  Personally, to me, she was beautiful, generous, kind,loving,  caring  " classy Lady". 
During a serious illness of mine that kept me hospitalized,  she and Ron came to visit me. Maxie required great assistance from Ron  , determined minded Maxie arrived.  I have thought about that several times. I could just hear her telling Ron " yes we are going!" When Ron would have only been concerned about her and how it would be difficult on her. 
My eyes fill with tears. Some for sadness, I know Ron and the family will miss her, some for joy , No more pain,illness or doctors...she is with her friend Jesus.  
Love you Maxie!!!

We have known Ron and Maxie for many, many years.
Maxie was a dear friend and “sister” in Jesus.  We’ve been in several Bible studies together, in our home, through the years.  The last one a women’s Biblestudy in our home.  Maxie was a prayer warrior and a strong woman of faith.  And she was beautiful inside and out!  It’s been a blessing to call her my friend.
I also remember a boat trip many years ago, I got seasick, but not Maxie, she very calmly hooked a worm to go fishing, with her beautiful manicured hands.... I couldn’t believe it, but she just laughed at me.
And Ron and Maxie had the Indian Jewelry store, I still have my Squash Blossom, it’s beautiful!
Treasured memories, we miss you Maxie.

Tom and I met Ron and Maxie in 2016 on the Grand Tour to Alaska with our Grand Banks boats. Although recovering from chemo at the time, Maxie showed such grace and grit. We have dearly loved our visits over the years. Susan Hall & Tom Huse

So sorry to hear about Maxie,  Ron.  She was a dear person and we know you will miss her greatly.  She was a ray of light and joy to all of us who loved her.   We know her family meant everything to her, especially those grandkids.
We remember all the visits over the years; boat shows in Annapolis and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, visits to Beaverton (via Napa Valley), visits to Savannah to see our future home, and the wonderful trip to Alaska on your Grand Banks!  Wonderful memories!
