Michael David Deardorff peacefully passed away Jan. 26, 2015, in his sleep. He was a simple, straightforward man, known for his kindness and outgoing nature. He loved the outdoors and went on hunting and fishing trips as often as he could. As a young man, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and honorably served his country. He was employed with Pepsi for many years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte; and son, Timothy. He is survived by his wife, Joan Deardorff; daughter, Angela Deardorff; son, David (Jackie) Deardorff; and grandchildren, Lily and Dillon. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. A committal service will follow in Willamette National Cemetery.
