Muriel & Loren were very dear friends of my grandmother, Margaret Boyer who lived in Turner, OR.  My mother was Donna (Boyer) Larkin.  She kept in touch with Muriel receiving Christmas cards until the last year or two.  The Hicks are a much-beloved family to our family.  I was lucky to inherit a sweet 8x10 drawing of a stuffed dog that Evelyn drew and gave to my grandmother.  It hangs in my home as it did for many years in my grandmother's home.

We are so saddened to hear of the loss of my dear friend Muriel.  She was such a special friend of the Margaret Boyer family in Turner, OR.  My mother was her housekeeper when Graham, Kenny, & Evelyn were toddlers.

I always enjoyed getting her Christmas card and letters and wondered why I hadn't heard from her the last two years.

She will always hold a special place in my heart.
