

Pamela Ellen Pierson (née Hearn) passed away peacefully at her home in Gresham, Oregon, on February 23, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. Born on September 27, 1947, in San Francisco, California, Pamela lived a life full of love, creativity, and dedication to her family. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her husband, children, and grandchildren were the heart of her life.
Pamela is survived by her adoring husband, Granville M. Pierson; her children, Granville M. Pierson Jr. and his wife, Angie Wilson Pierson; Amy M. Baker and her husband, Aaron Baker; and her eldest son, Sean Reid. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Victoria Furphy, Robert Furphy, Grant Furphy, Ashley Wilson, Anthonia Wilson, and Malaika Pierson. Pamela is further survived by her loving siblings and in-laws: Jeffery and Linda Hearn, Cindy and Warren Barnhart, Tom and Kathy Hearn, Kevin and Sheron Hearn, and Robin and Mike Brady, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ann Hearn; her parents-in-law, Granville and Doris Pierson; her sister-in-law, Dolores Graham; her niece, Christine Baker; and her great-nephew, William Kyle Monroe.
A deeply loving and devoted wife and mother, Pamela found joy in the simplest things. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, sewing, and expressing herself through writing and fashion. Pamela’s love for beauty extended to her collections of antiques and holiday décor, treasures that reflected her appreciation for family traditions, art, and history. Whether nurturing her garden or creating something beautiful with words, Pamela’s creative spirit enriched the lives of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2025, at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon. The service will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM followed by a catered reception to share favorite memories and stories.
Pamela was deeply loved and cherished by all who knew her. Her presence will be profoundly missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
