Rene Calderon-Jones

Born on November 5, 1962 in Los Angeles, California Rene was the beloved Son of Lillian Dalgart Calderon and Julio Alfredo Calderon both of whom preceded him in death. His Dad Frederick “Fred” Jones survives him.

Rene’s life was marked by his deep love for his Family, his generous spirit, and his over the top personality. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Wendy, and his Children Jon (and Daughter in law Brandy), Nathan, Nicole, and Cheyanne. Rene was also a proud Grandfather to Aziza, Jon Jr. (“Bubba”), Destiny, Deaven, Bryan, Lillian, Mallory, and Leilani.

Rene is also survived by his siblings Ebony Jones and Roderick Buck. Sadly he was preceded in death by his Brother Malik’s Jones. He also leaves behind many Friends who became Family.

Rene loved animals, drawing, martial arts, and cheering on his teams - the Raiders and the Lakers. Spending time with his Friends and Family is what he loved most of all.

Rene’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyalty to all the people he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
