Roger Arthur Vidlund passed away in his home on September 17th, 2025 at the age of 88. Roger is survived by his wife of 58 years Roberta Vidlund (nee Pairan), daughter Christina (husband Anthony) and grandson Leo. Roger was born and raised in Portland, OR, graduating from Benson High School and attending Pacific Lutheran University. Roger proudly served in the US Air Force. Roger worked as a USPS letter carrier for 39 years. Even in retirement, he enjoyed working at the Portland international airport. Throughout his life, Roger found fellowship through his men’s Bible studies and his church family. Roger and his wife Roberta were avid square dancers with the Rivergate Stompers for 18 years. A celebration of Roger's life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church Saturday October 18th at 11am. Donations can be made to the church in his name.
