

A celebration of life for Portland resident Sharon J. Binder was held at Providence Elder Place in Cully. Sharon was born January 19, 1938 in Caldwell, Idaho to John and Margaret Tuckness. She passed away August 23, 2010 in Portland, Oregon at age 72.
Sharon was raised in Idaho, and later moved to Oregon when she met and married her husband Richard in 1958. After settling into the Portland metro area Sharon worked as a legal secretary until retiring in 1985. After retirement Richard and Sharon loved to drive around and travel to many places, they also enjoyed fishing and hunting in the Mt. Hood area. Sharon had many interests including sewing, knitting and crochet. She was a faith driven woman attending Gateway baptist,and Stone tower in which she was the pianist.
Sharon lived a very happy, wonderful life and everyone loved her who came in contact with her.
Sharon is survived by her four children, one daughter Christina Kailea, and three sons Ken, Michael, and Scott Binder. Her two siblings, one brother David Tuckness, and one sister Pat Yost. Along with her 8 Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Binder, and her parents John and Margaret Tuckness.
Sharon was laid to rest with her husband Richard at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
