She was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Joseph and Mary Mick. They moved to the Portland area when she was five where she initially lived in Vanport until the flood. Little did she know that her next door neighbor in Vanport would someday be her husband.
She attended Sitton Elementary and Lincoln High School. In her younger years she attended Central Bible Church and loved working at their Trout Creek Bible Camp in the summer. Later she attended Willamette Boulevard Evangelical Church in north Portland and after moving to the southwest area she went to Portland Christian.
She loved spending time with her family, the outdoors, road trips, camping, painting, musicals, puzzles and sewing. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to sew things for her daughters, grandchildren, their dolls and the Portland Christian Church Christmas program.
She will be deeply missed and is survived by her husband of 63 years John Beveridge, her daughters Debbie (Dave) Whitman and Kathleen Beveridge. Grandchildren Autumn (Don) Nichols, Daryl Merrick, Chris Whitman, Jacquelyn Christian, Lindsey Beveridge, Andre Perez, Eric Perez and Tiffany Valdes.
Great-Grandchildren Maija Nichols, Ty Nichols, Marcus Jonathan Merrick, Isaiah Merrick, Hugo Christian, Jack Christian, Violet Christian, Lillianna Gibbs and Zoe McKenzie.
Preceded in death by her son Richard, her parents and siblings Richard Mick and Diane Walker.
