My Father
[He] Enjoyed a good time amongst the company of others.
Appreciated good food, a nice Riesling or a dark stout and a fine cigar.
He enjoyed meeting and getting to know people.
My father was an enthusiast and avid collector of firearms.
And he really appreciated a nice sports car accompanied by a joyride.
Steve loved riding snowmobiles and ATV’s.
And, he was always a child at heart when it came to lighting off the biggest fireworks on the 4th of July.
My Dad loved history, political talk shows, and anything comedy.
He always loved telling a joke, good or bad, at the appropriate moment or not.
My father was proud of his children and grandchildren.
Our father never discouraged us from letting us explore our own choice of fun activities, sports, education or career paths.
From Brian Zipper:
Brian's take: As infrequently as I engaged with Steve - I felt comfortable being myself. This happens when people have a sincere interest in discussion and understanding. Curiousness. This approach suggests a passion for life and the experiences that come with it. There was a propensity to quick- wittedness with Steve, which could have an edge to it. These qualities lead me to suspect Steve was a phenomenal "sales"person when circumstances required his attention in this facet of business. I trust the continued success of the business will continue being of service to the community.
