She graduated from Sutherlin High School in 1965. She also attended Stevens-Henager College in Boise, ID where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. In 1979, she married Jack Crawford, the love of her life, with whom she shared an amazing and wonderful life for 25 years until his passing in 2004.
Suzanne is survived by her two children Rick Crager from Salem, OR and Shelley Crawford Jackson from Vancouver, WA, as well as her four grandchildren - Ben Crager, Alyx Crager, Jordan Jackson and Keira Harper. She is also survived by her siblings Steve Lane from Cottage Grove, OR; Becky Holt from Lapine, OR; Bonny Robertson from Vancouver, WA, and Melody Zarnke from Lapine, OR.
Suzanne brought joy to everyone she touched and had this amazing ability to bring comfort and care to all those that loved her. Throughout her life, she was always there to help her family and friends by providing compassion and thoughtfulness in their times of need or when they simply just needed someone to talk with. Suzanne accepted everyone’s individual gifts and values, and never judged others by their choices, but rather embraced them for their individualism. She loved her two children and their spouses Eric (Shelley) and Sherry (Rick), along with her four wonderful grandchildren, of whom she adored. The loss of our beloved Mom, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend will truly leave a void in our ever day life but will forever have a place in our heart.
A celebration of Suzanne’s Life will be held at 11AM on Saturday, November 6th at the Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes at 1515 NE 106th Ave., Portland, Oregon 97220.
