Terry Allen Krause

Terry grew up in SE Portland and would describe his childhood as idealic!

Terry graduated from John Marshall High School in SE Portland. Then went on to receive a Bachelors in Architecture at Washington State University, graduating in 1986-Go Cougs!

Terry would meet the love of his life growing up only three blocks from his childhood home in SE Portland! Terry and Erin were married on September 12, 1987.

Terry had a very successful career in Portland as an Architect. He specialized in Commercial Architecture and enjoyed every bit of it, winning many awards and accolades throughout the years! Terry was known and respected for his honesty and integrity. He was also a pretty funny guy with a knack for great storytelling!!

Terry is gone way too soon and has left a void in the lives of his beloved wife Erin, his son Zackery and daughter-in-law Kelsey, his daughter Aubrey and son-in-law Angel, as well as older sisters Valli Brunken and Pella Betcher, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry will also be missed by the people that he loved working with every day. He arose early every morning and went to a job he absolutely loved!

Terry lived Life to its fullest. He enjoyed camping, hunting and time on his deck near his pool ‘catching rays’! Terry was quite the tinkerer and could fix ANYTHING!!!!

A Celebration of Life will be held for Terry on September 12, 2023 at 1 pm at the EcoTrust Building, Irving Street Studio at 907 NW Irving Street in Portland, Oregon.
