Thomas Orville Lamvik passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on January 30, 1939, in Portland, Oregon, Thomas spent his life rooted in the community he loved and most recently resided in Damascus, Oregon.
Thomas proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Following his military service, he built a dedicated career as a diesel mechanic, known for his strong work ethic, skillful hands, and willingness to help others. Above all, Thomas was a loving family man who cherished time with those closest to him. His quiet strength, steady presence, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
A graveside service with military honors will follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, Oregon 97229.
Thomas will be laid to rest with honor, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
