

Vanessa Santos Savanh, 36, December 10, 1979 – May 13, 2016. Vanessa passed away peacefully with her beloved husband by her side on May 13th, 2016 after a hard and courageous fight with cancer. Vanessa was born on December 10th, 1979 at Portland Adventist Hospital in Portland, Oregon to Wilhemina Pancipanci and Rogel Santos.
Vanessa grew up in Portland, Oregon as well as Guam. She was a graduate of Mt. Hood Community College and was expected to graduate from Portland State University in 2016. She enjoyed learning and gaining work experience. She was promoted to government analyst at Oregon Public Broadcasting. However, the two jobs she loved most were being a mother and a wife.
Vanessa loved her family first and foremost. Family time was a priority and precious to her. She often scheduled lunch dates with her mom and sister along with her children or her friends. She married her childhood sweetheart, Bounmy Savanh and together they had two children, Noah and Alex.
Vanessa was an outgoing and adventurous woman. She was passionate for outdoor activities such as hiking and running. She loved working out, dancing, and singing. She also enjoyed shopping and loved going on dessert adventures with her sister. She was compassionate, kind, thoughtful, selfless, and always lightened up any situation with her cheerfulness and beautiful smile.
Vanessa is survived by her husband, Bounmy Savanh; sons, Noah and Alex; parents, Mina Pancipanci, Flory Pancipanci, and Rogel Santos; sister, Nicole Pancipanci; brother Chris Santos; and grandmother, Lucila Diaz.
