He was born May 17, 1939, in Rugby North Dakota and moved to Portland Oregon in 1948. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1957 for 4 years. He retired from Pak Well Paper Co. and Wacher Siltronic Portland, Oregon. He was a member of the U.R.S. club and Alcoholics Anonymous starting February 8, 1973, and served as a board member.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Mac McKenzie, and his son and daughter-in-law: Ron and Debbie Bischoff, four grandchildren: Mike and Dan McKenzie; Ryan Harris and Kristi Bischoff. Also, sister Alice Leibham, and three great-grandchildren: Ava McKenzie; Owen and Jovi Harris, and friend Celeste Vaughters.
A committal service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 11:30am. 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97086
