Judith Alice Brankacz

Mrs. Judith Alice Brankacz, age 69 of Potsdam, NY passed away suddenly at the Canton Potsdam Hospital on September 12, 2023. Arrangements for cremation are with the Garner Funeral Service. There will be a graveside service at the Chapel Hill Cemetery on Monday, September 18th at noon. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Potsdam Humane Society @17 Madrid Ave. Potsdam, NY 13676.

Judith is survived by her daughter Patti Moniere; sisters Barbara Fuller, Suzzy Rotella, Linee Claflin, Cindee Johnson and Jo Amiee Charleston; 2 grandchildren Ashley and Jordan Dishaw; one great grandchild Ayanna Flowers and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband John Brankacz and her first husband Phillip Benton.

Judith Alice Brankacz was born on September 8, 1954 to the late Joseph Moniere and Otha Deer. She was a graduate of Potsdam Central High School. On November 8, 2008 she was married to John Brankacz in the town of Palmyra, NY. She and her husband John in the Rochester, NY area for years. He passed last year and she returned to Potsdam. She loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs. She enjoyed playing Lotto and buying lottery tickets. She loved vacationing with her husband John in Maine.

She was a former member of the Potsdam Elks Lodge and the Potsdam and Colton Amvets.
