
Mrs. Judith A Cameron, age 86, of Madrid, NY passed away on February 3rd at her residence in the town of Madrid while surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements for cremation are with the Garner Funeral Service. Judy will be buried in the spring at Rensselaer Falls Cemetery with her husband who passed June 11, 2020. Judy is survived by her sister Carol Fuller and 3 daughters Carol (Harry) Garvey, Cathy (David) Parker and Connie (Randy) McAllister. Judy stayed close to step children Christine Richardson, Colleen Kirkey and Charleen Bates. Judy has 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Charles and her son David S. Palmer.
Judy was born November 27, 1939 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Clarence Poor and Ruth Dewey. She was a graduate of Boces Nursing program and became a registered LPN. She worked for many years at the Claxton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg, NY. She had a marriage to Simeon Albert Palmer that ended in divorce. She then was married to Charles Cameron. Together they spent their summers on Sterling Pond in Parishville, NY and their winters in Melbourne, FL.
Judy loved fishing, knitting, reading, cooking, playing cards and dominos. Her true love was spending time with her family. She loved life and lived it to the fullest never forgetting how blessed she was and will be missed by all.
