

Mrs. Sherry Anne Cryderman, age 67 of Madrid, NY passed away on November 5, 2015 at the Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT. Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service in Potsdam, NY. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 10th from 2-4 and 6-8. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday the 11th at 11am at the Christian Fellowship Center in Potsdam, NY with Pastor Rick Sinclair celebrant. Sherry is survived by her husband Timothy W. Cryderman; son John (Kim) Champion of Henderson, TX; daughter Leslie (Steven) Reiter of Winthrop, NY; brothers Terry and Stephen Spicer; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Sherry was born February 10, 1948 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Clyde Spicer and Shirley Fuller. She attended Madrid Waddington schools graduating in 1967. She worked at the Canton Development Program in Canton, Acco in Ogdensburg, Canton Family Physicians, was a director at St. Regis Mohawk Seniors Center in Akwasasnee and then as an executive secretary at St. Lawrence County Public Health in Canton. She married Timothy W. Cryderman on July 7, 1984.
Sherry really loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, traveling and really enjoyed the re-enactments with the Forsyth’s Rifles. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Center in Madrid, the Enriched Housing Board in Canton and a member of the Forsyth’s Rifles.
