Amy Webb Vance, a devoted wife, mother, Lolli, sister, nurse, and friend, passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 48. She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her dedication to caring for others, and the deep love she had for her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Webb and stepfather, Raymond Harrison.
Born on November 21, 1977, Amy spent her life serving others both personally and professionally. She discovered her passion for nursing while still in high school and remained devoted to that calling throughout her life. Amy built a respected career in healthcare and served as an ICU Manager at Jackson Hospital, where she was admired for her leadership, knowledge, and the kindness she showed to patients, families, and coworkers alike. Nursing was not just her profession—it was truly part of who she was.
Above all else, Amy cherished her family. She was the beloved wife of Brad Vance and a proud and loving mother to Austin Green (Madison), Kensly Orndorff, and Aubree Vance. Nothing brought Amy more joy than being a grandmother to Briggs Green and Beckett Green. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment she spent with them.
Amy is also survived by her mother, Margaret Harrison; sister, Darlene Glenn, and her brothers, Donnie Harrison, Ronnie Harrison, and Bobby Webb, along with a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Outside of work and family, Amy found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her chickens—each one lovingly named—often joking that they had personalities of their own. Those quiet moments at home brought her peace and joy.
Amy’s caring spirit, warm smile, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion, strength, and love will live on in the lives she touched and in the family she cherished so deeply.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel, 347 E. Main St. Prattville, Al. 36067.
A service to celebrate Amy’s life will be held at Big Springs Baptist Church on March 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Tyson McClain officiating. Burial will follow at Big Springs Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the life of a woman who gave so much of herself to others.
Amy Webb Vance will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her
