MEADE, Annie Elizabeth, 96, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and worked at Hope’s for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lee Meade, and a son Dorsey Gordon Meade. She is survived by a son, James E Meade, Spring, TX; three grandchildren, Sondra (Steve) Troutman, Marietta, GA; Jason (Christy) Meade, Jeremy (Casie) Meade, all of Spring, TX; six great grandchildren, Chelsea, Chloe, Jacey, Landon, Brynn and Kylie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Birmingham, AL. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Prattville First Baptist Church, 138 South Washington St., 36067, or a charity of choice.
