MEADOWS, Betty B., 84, a resident of Verbena, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Q. Meadows, two sons, David Michael Meadows and Stanley Ray Meadows, and grandson David Brandon Meadows. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Faye Smith, Millbrook, AL; three brothers, Joseph (Rosemary) Brown, John Allen (Viola) Brown and James (Betty) Brown, all of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, Jason (Karen) Smith, Shannon (Keisha) Meadows, Christen Meadows; six great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer, AL, with Minister Brent Missildine officiating.
