SPEARS, Billy Wayne, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Visitation will be held Monday, September 11, 2017 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Brent Missildine officiating. Mr. Billy Wayne Spears was for thirty years the owner of Fountain City Machine Shop. He is survived and remembered by his wife of 37 years, Ann Wyatt Spears; a son, William Wayne Spears, and daughter, Carolyn Ritchie of Bakersfield, California; two daughters here, Sara Glasscock and Donna Scott; a special pet dog, Charlene; his extended family; his associates among the Sons of the American Revolution and his many friends.
