Ms. Scott was born June 15, 1943 in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery and attended Auburn University.
Ms. Scott is survived by her sister Joanie Blackwell Horning, a son James Scott, her nephew Calvin Grissett, her brother in law Click Horning, her loving and faithful caregiver Ms. Jackie Willis, and her canine companion Jasmine. In accordance with her wishes there will be no funeral or memorial services. Extended family and friends wishing to honor her memory are encouraged to make a donation to the Autauga County Humane Society or to plant a tree for her at a site of their choice. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
