His family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM Tuesday followed by a Life Celebration Service at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Pastors Bruce Hose and Jerry Giles officiating.
Mr. Pittman was born August 12, 1951 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Cecil Wilson Pittman and Martha Pate Pittman.
He was a quality control manager for Durr Pharmaceuticals and route man for the Coca Cola Company.
He enjoyed 60’s and 70’s Rock’n Roll music and loved woodworking as a hobby.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Gale and his sister, Cecilia “Cia” Price. He is survived by his daughter, Stefanie Pittman of Houston, Texas; a grandson, Joshua Pittman; two sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Wayne Parker of Millbrook, Alabama, Kati and Tom Phelps of Ashville, North Carolina; a brother and sister in law, Jeff and Jackie Pittman of Anderson, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and other close family relatives.
