Mr. Silvey was preceded by his parents, Paul J. Silvey and Ethel G. Silvey along with one brother, Eddie Bill Silvey.
Clarence was survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Dean Silvey, their three son's, Joseph Paul Silvey, Sr. (Tammy), Kevin Jerome Silvey (Pamela), and Timothy Eugene Silvey (Dana); four grandchildren, Joseph Paul Silvey, Jr. (Lacey), Timothy Dalton Silvey (Tristan), Bailee Nichole Silvey and Courtney LeeAnna Silvey, along with five great-grandchildren, Stella, Willow, Joseph, Haddon, and Presleigh.
Clarence was a family man, he loved his wife very much and always sought to put her first, he was a church goer with a strong faith. He was retired from the United States Air Force after serving two tours in Vietnam, two tours in Korea, and coming home with two bronze stars from the Korean War. After retiring from the Air Force, Clarence then went on to become the manager of McDonalds and did that for many years. Clarence Eugene Silvey was loved by many and will be missed by all.
A visitation for Clarence will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 1, 2018 at 3:00 PM with a burial to immediately follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Wetumpka St., Prattville, Alabama 36067.
