CROSBY, Ernestine Barber, age 84, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014. Mrs. Crosby was preceded in death by her husband, James Malcolm Crosby. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Lori Crosby; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Keith Shirley; four grandchildren, Keri Stephens, Tara Williams, Stevie Sowell, Kyle Shirley and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mickey Cothran, Kyle Shirley, Arron Sowell, Trent Williams, John Dennis, Larry Deavers and David Northington. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Prattville YMCA or to Prattville First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Chapel Saturday February 15, 2014 from 10:00 AM until funeral service time at 11:00 AM with Dr. Travis Coleman and Rev. Dave Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens. The family wants to extend their thanks to the staff of Comfort Care Hospice and Prattville Health and Rehab for their kindness and care during this time.
