Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with the Reverend Gary Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Military Honors. Mr. Walker was a retired aircraft mechanic from the U.S. Air Force and from Buford Equipment Company of Montgomery. He was also a farmer and cattleman. He loved fishing and carpentry and was a member of Northridge Baptist Church and a previous member of Indian Lake Baptist Church. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Edna V. Wilson Walker; his daughter, Darlene (Richard) Fisher; sons, Larry (Suzanne) Walker, Wayne (Carol) Walker; his sister, Emma Shupert; step son, Marshall Arthur (Sue) Wilson; step daughter, Sallie (John) Watkins and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Larry Walker, Jr., Wayne Walker, Jr., Shannon Singley, Gregory Fisher, Scott Fisher and Nathaniel Walker. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
