OWENS, Larry D., age 56, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM from St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with Father Scott Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens. Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Eugene Owens and Josephine Crosby Owens. Survivors include his wife, Velma Francine Roberts Owens of Prattville; five sons, Richard Michael Owens and wife Anna of Millbrook, AL, Joseph Robert Owens, James Christopher Owens, Matthew Lawrence Owens and Nathanial Crosby Owens all of Prattville; one brother and sister-in-law, James Richard and Elaine Owens of Montgomery. Pallbearers will be Richard Owens, Joseph Owens, James Owens, Matthew Owens, Nathanial Owens and Sean Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be the 4th Alabama Infantry Company F and The Alabama Division of Civil War Re-enactors. Visitation will be held at St. Mark’s Church Friday, April 1, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM
