Lillian F. Fife

FIFE, Lillian, F., a resident of Prattville, AL. Lillian, who was loved by everyone who knew her, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2012. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend; who never met a person she didn’t like. She was born on August 30, 1924 in Macon, MS, and passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newell Hildreth Fife, and son, Fred Fife. She is survived by three daughters, Rita Reynolds (Bill), Franklin, TN; Diane Burdine (Pete Maloney), Tequesta, FL; Karen Blake (Phillip), Ramer, AL; daughter-in-law, Carol Fife, Flat Rock, NC; six grandchildren, Jason Fife, Flat Rock, NC; Candice Durden, (Luke) Warrenton, VA; Madeline Burdine (Bob Smiles), Atlanta, GA; Ryan Reynolds, Cape Coral, FL, Dustin Taylor (Claudia), Richmond, VA; Russ Reynolds, Boston, MA; five great grandchildren, Carter Reynolds, Cape Coral, FL; Avery Durden, Trent Durden, Laney Durden, all of Warrenton, VA; Reli Taylor, Richmond, VA; three sisters, Doris Gates (Herbert), Jasper, AL; Mable Randall and Kaye Rubio, both of Birmingham, AL; several nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Gates officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
