He is preceded in death by his parents, William Carl and Pearl S. Willis and brother, Allen Pratt Willis.
Robert retired from International Paper in January 2004 after working for over 30 years and was an Equipment Operator 1st Class in the US Navy Seabees, where he retired in April of 1993.
Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Willis; sons, Robert N. Willis Jr. (Maria); Timothy W. Willis (April); grandchildren, Eric Willis, Bridget Tindol, Jesse Willis, Mercedes Miller, Mackenzie Genge; 9 great grandchildren; brother, William "Bill" Willis (Dawn); sister in law, Becky Willis and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Big Springs Baptist Church, 2003 County Rd. 77, Billingsley, AL. 36006, with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Donnie Burns and Doug Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Big Springs Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Eric Willis, Jesse Willis, Brandon Tindol, Mike Willis, Ethan Tindol and Marlin Seymore.
