Miss Overstreet was born September 7, 1919 in Autauga County to William Asbury Overstreet and Mary Edwards Cox Overstreet. She passed away on December 28, 2020. She is preceded in death by one of her two nephews; William Gaines Smith of Evergreen Community, Billingsley AL. Her surviving nephew; Merrill Wayne Smith also of Evergreen three great nephews; Joseph Chris Smith (Wendy) of Billingsley, Jaison Smith (Whitney Fairbanks) of North Carolina, and Collin Gaines Smith of Wyoming and two great nieces: Kimberly Smith Reynolds (Frank) of Plantersville, AL, and Heather Smith Medeiros of Auburn AL.
Miss Overstreet worked many years at Barbers Dairy. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers. She was a faithful member of Heritage Church in Montgomery.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, January 1, 2021 at 12 noon at Evergreen Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley, AL.
