William Ted Abrams was called to be with his Lord and Savior on May 5, 2018, at age 88. He was affectionately known as “Brother Ted” by his church family and will be remembered for his devotion to God, his brothers and sisters in the Lord and southern gospel music.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lilly Belle and Ted Abrams. He is survived by cousins, Sybil Larkin, of Alexander, Arkansas, Rodney Abrams of Birmingham, Ala., and a host of many friends throughout Elmore County, Ala.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Ridout’s Funeral Home, Prattville, Ala., from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with a celebration of life at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Harlen Harris officiating. Pall bearers are Wendell Carter, Mark Gentry, Jim Goodman, Don Headley, Mike Rogers, and Bill Willis. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Prattville, Ala.
Farewell Bro. Ted, your many friends will miss you and will look for you when we get to that Eternal Home.
