IN THE CARE OF
Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel
William Lawrence Bradley, Jr went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, January 15th, 2022, at the age of 66 at his home. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faithfulness, and willingness to serve others above himself. William was born January 12th, 1956, in Selma, Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bradley; his children, Alecia Brightwell (Charlie), Taylor Bradley and Mary Katherine Bradley; and his grandchildren, Haley Brightwell and Katie Brightwell. He is preceded in death by his parents William Lawrence Bradley Sr. and Elizabeth Bradley.
William was a true Cowboy, born and raised in Autuagaville, Alabama. He went on to be a Sheriffs Deputy, Fireman, Paramedic, Project Engineer, Assistant Director of the Prattville Water Works Board, and most importantly a husband and father. William became a Christian in February 1993 and throughout the following 28 years he strived to model his life after Jesus. William never forgot the most important messages from Jesus: Grace and Love. May William's life be a testament to all who knew him that will carry on his legacy.
Funeral services for William will be Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church, Prattville, Alabama. Visitation will be from 11:00 – 12:30 also at First Baptist Church, Prattville. Burial will follow at Rocky Hill Cemetery, in Autaugaville, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Chad Allen, Doug Sloan, Stanley Gann, Bill Lipscomb (Cowboy Bill), Jake Chavers, Adam Rawlinson, Harold Gaines, Ricky Pate and Buddy Buckner. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Prattville Water Works Board.
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." Revelation 21:4-5.
"Suffering Absent, Satisfaction Abundant"; words written, highlighted, and underlined in William's bible as he studied these verses written above. We cling to the hope of Jesus during this season of grief.
